Grammy nominated comedian Lavell Crawford has certainly made great waves with his brand of comedy. His comedy special Vaccine, released in 2021, earned a Grammy nod for Best Comedy Album. Crawford made his breakthrough as a comedian when he first appeared in BET’s Comic View during the late 90s. In the early 2000s he gained more prominence when he joined as a contestant in Last Comic Standing. In 2011, Crawford made an unforgettable performance titled Lavell Crawford: Can a Brother Get Some Love, performed at a famous venue in his hometown in St. Louis, Missouri.
Chicago born comedian Corey Holcomb known as the Ghetto Dr. Phil has delivered great comedies BET’s Comicview, Def Comedy Jam, Nick Cannon Presents, and Last Comic Standing. He also made a notable appearance at Shaquille O Neal’s Allstar Comedy Jam. Throughout his career, Holcomb has consistently self released his specials and gained incredible reviews from fans and critics. His latest special The Book of Coreythians was released in 2023.
