Are you ready? ‘Cause the Lovers & Legends tour is taking over DAR Constitution Hall on Saturday the 14th AND Sunday, February 15th. AKA once again Je’Caryous Johnson is proving why he’s one of the most important creative forces in live entertainment today. Putting together some of the R&B Rap legends right here on stage for all our nostalgic days and remembering when - a moment for the grown and sexy, the cultured and future thinking folks - the ones who love great music, comedy, and a show that feels like once in a moment! Set inside the historic elegance of DAR Constitution Hall, just minutes from the White House, this show feels right where it belongs. Big energy. Legendary names. Perfect timing
Curated and produced by Je’Caryous himself, Lovers & Legends brings together an all-star lineup that spans comedy, hip-hop, and R&B royalty right here in the heart of D.C.. Hitting the stage on the 15th are Cedric The Entertainer, Big Daddy Kane, Doug E. Fresh, the o.g party-starter Michel’le,; and Q Parker formerly of 112 all coming to the stage - and JJ is at the top maestro’ing it all. If you haven’t figured it out he isn’t just producing normal shows - he’s creating spaces where people connect and transport themselves back in time. A powerhouse playwright, director, author, and visionary, Je’Caryous has spent decades shaping what live theater and touring productions can look and feel like. From bold stage adaptations to star-driven live experiences, his work consistently centers Black artistry, love stories, humor, and cultural legacy. He understands how to turn a night out into something personal, something communal, something people talk about long after the lights come up - and THAT folks is why we have to see him live and see his mind work here on stage.
