Amid a time where the nation’s pretty much divided, people believe that a healthy discourse is key to keeping things back on track… Well, Ronny Chieng & Hasan Minhaj beg to disagree, claiming that HATRED is the answer. That’s why the unstoppable duo is kicking off a 19-city tour that’ll take heated debates to the big stage… fueled by energies of hate. That’s why “HASAN HATES RONNY” & “RONNY HATES HASAN.” Facing each other head on with both personal and professional topics on the list, these two comics are down to let all their grievances out — ON STAGE in a “debate to death.”
Kicking it all off in October, these two comedians will embark on a special tour that no one saw coming. All founded on frustration, hate, and grievances, Chieng & Minhaj are taking part in a live debate with much less decorum, but more rowdy and hysterical fun (or anger rather). Calling it a “DEBATE TO DEATH,” imagine CNN’s Presidential Townhall with twice the heat, and let’s say 10x less decorum. Rather than a race to the top, it’s all about who gets to the bottom first because things are about to get real.
On stage, they’ll be tackling the nation’s most pressing issues — ranging from war, presidents, the economy, infrastructure, culture, immigration, and so much more as they dive into personal matters too. Take note, these debates aren’t a call for peace, but one that borderlines pettiness and crazy takes.
“I’m not giving you a pull quote saying how excited I am. I’m not excited, I detest Ronny Chieng and I resent his career,” said Minhaj.
In turn, Chieng said “I hope after this show people can finally stop listening to this uneducated fraud.”
